First Blog!

Hi there everyone

My name's Fiona and I am the owner of Fi's Fancy Crafts. Everyone has been telling me that blogging is the way to go so thought I'd bite the bullet and get one! It's very exciting sitting here when the rest of the house is quiet and I've got my music blasting (through my headphones of course), and I'm allowed to ramble about myself and the business.

So a little bit about myself and the business. I'm Fiona, from southside Glasgow and I'm 28. I started planning the business about 6 months ago. Two of the most important people in my life passed away within 6 months of each other, my wonderful, amazing, inspirational Grans. I had always thought of starting my own business and was offered the chance to actually go ahead and do it so I jumped at it. So after 6 months of planning, testing some of my products, and general hard work, I am about to launch myself into the business world and I'm actually announcing to the world that this is my full time job!

As anyone who knows me will know, I have been doing this for a little while already but now we're serious and I would like to introduce my business to the world.

My business is about quality handmade crafts and cards. If you have an event you want a card for, I can do it for you. I buy some designs in from CraftsUprint and others I design myself but what you are guaranteed is a product which has been thought about and lovingly crafted by me. I also do workshops, invites and, coming soon, party bags!
